A dac is extremely necessary to play music on apple music lossless and SMSL su1 is the most budget friendly dac but sound is extremely detailed with nice,tight bass.vocals are forward ,sounstage is broad .

Too good DAC for the beginners.

Received the DAC today. Played hi res musics and videos. Sounded extremely good for the fair price. I am planning to buy smsl raw mda1 dac shortly. Please do update on the dac arrival asap. Good work team headphone.in

Excellent DAC with a great price to performance ratio

Bought this DAC after going through several reviews on numerous sites like ASR etc. Amazing DAC for the price. It stays true to the source and is very neutral without coloring the sound signature. Though I was not able to make it work directly from an Android phone via direct USB C connection, leveraged the Co-Axial and Optical connectivity options. Have been using it now for more than 2 weeks and have my TV Unit and Speakers hooked onto it with Fosi Audio ZA3 Amp in my study room. Sounds fantastic. For the price range of 7-8K, this is definitely worth a steal. Great product by SMSL.

It’s a fantastic DAC for 7K and this can easily compete with 50 K DACs easily.
Superb presentation of highs, mids and lows. It’s like hearing in a theatre. Great find and kudos to SMSL.
Had they given one more input mode it would have been great but no complaints. The build is too good and it’s compact and cute. Go for it guys and you won’t regret.
