Customers praised the "amazing" sound quality with excellent clarity and instrument separation. The balanced sound signature and LDAC support impressed many. However, customers noted ANC is underwhelming compared to competitors, earpads cause sweating, the case is bulky, and the headphones are heavy for extended use. Battery life and multipoint connectivity received positive feedback.

My initial motivation to go for these was the brilliant offer I found them on. Switching from TW buds(Momentum 2) I was hesitant at first to go for over ears but decided to give it a fair shot.
Now about the device.
Lovely is the word I'd have to use. Comfortable fit even over prolonged use. Took me only a short while to get used to them. Great codec support on bluetooth and they're quite powerful over bluetooth however to my surprise i could just use a USB C to C connection as they support c type input and that really opened up the performance and allowed me to make good use of apple lossles and gave a considerable boost in power as well. It's extremely convenient as well because you don't need dongles or separate cables.
Audio quality is better than my Momentums which were great to begin with. Very natural and suited to a large spectrum of musical genres.
Definitely recommend a burn in. Overnight should do the trick.
Only thing that can potentially be a drawback is the HUGE case. But I rarely use it and just carry them as is. They're quite sturdy and built to last so never felt the need.
Side note: I really appreciate the burn in guide and playlist that i received from HZ. Nice touch. Also the small playlist cards that came with the package were lovely as well. Overall a lovely service and delivery experience as well.

Funny thing is I’ve never heard about shure before , on a whim I went ahead and purchased it although my friends were all rooting for Sony xm4 ( sorry if I misspelt the model) but oddly enough I did see that a lot of hand me downs xm4s on the site and was wondering why is that so , and I spoke to a guru he too suggested the same then again went with my gut feeling and placed an order for shure aonic 50
It’s a very subtle device and quite a premium one too , I read some comments about the noise cancellation not being up to the mark but I’d like to beg to differ to the nay sayers this one is spot on. Especially if u download the shure app there are various presets and stuff That I’m still toying around with
On the whole I’d like to thank the headphone zone for bringing this device to India , kudos to y’all …
P.s > there are so many comments about the the noise cancellation feature not being adequate so to the naysayers lemme give. U a piece of advise as a medical doctor if there’s total noise cancellation then the ears can’t function properly causing nausea , lightheadedness sometimes a dare say dizziness sooo the people at shure have been in the game for a long time ,
It’s my contention that if I may I’d implore prospective customers to try out shure and I’m of the opinion that u won’t be left disappointed, the battery life omg guess I’ll have to sit for 48 hours for it to dip to 10 percent I wore them for 9 hours straight there was a little discomfort in the beginning but now since I’ve gotten used to it it feels like a magic carpet ride with the anc turned on …
Once again I’d like to appreciate the headphone zone guru ( gee you are you ) lol , I’m happy that I made a good choice (touchwood) rest I leave it to you

I needed a wireless headphones for using while walking, to hear audio books and to listen to indian instrumentals. Noise cancellation was also important as i stay near a busy road and lots of traffic noise [even during lockdown :( ]. I was using a Bose Quiet comfort 25 till now and needed a replacement.
Pros:
1. Comfortable to use.
2. Feels premium.
3. Very balanced sound signature at default settings.
4. Can pair to two devices at once (I connected to my computer when on zoom and it was also connected to my phone. when i got a call it immediately routed my call and when i cut the call immediately started streaming my meeting)
5. Decent Battery life.
6. Good integration to Google assistant when paired to your phone.
Cons
1. BIG - Doesnt fold as well as the Bose and will be difficult to pack in backpack while travelling.
2. Noise cancelling - I felt my Bose did a better job of cancelling my AC noise.
3. App - The presets seems to work only while you play music throught the Shure Play app only. When i was streaming through YouTube / Spotify i didnt feel that changing the preset in SHure app did anything to the sound signature (maybe i have to learn how to do it)
Other points
The environment mode - It amplifies the surrounding sounds. Personally i didnt find it to be a useful feature as if I needed to interact, i would stop listeing to music and remove the headpones anyways.
While listening to music on Spotify, listening to high quality music with a Premium account makes a huge difference, esp with these set of phones.
It would have been better if fast charging would have been incorporated.
I didnt find any perceptible difference listening to music from my phone through bluetooth vs using it with a cord.

Writing this after a months usage... The aonic 50 shines in the sound department. The signature Shure sound can be found here. Instrument separation is really really good.
Coming to the noise cancellation... It manages to block away 65% of the surrounding noise, which means you'll still be able to hear minor disturbances. The noise cancellation feature works well while playing music. In comparison it might not compare with Sony which is like the gold standard in terms of NC but it won't disappoint either.
The build quality and looks are quite premium and the earpads are quite plus. Overall, if you are looking for a pair of premium level headphone with decent NC then go for this one

The sound is probably the best out of its competition. The noise cancellation is meh. It can't remove speech at all, and struggles with anything other than constant buzz. Multipoint works great, environment mode works fine.
Not for you if all you care about is noise cancellation.

Amazing sound stage,
rests like a pillow on your head to a point where you don’t feel the weight.
Noise cancellation very good - i stay in at an area where there is a lot of construction and heavy drilling, once I switch on the Noise cancellation and play I don’t hear anything in the background(95 percent).
Environment mode: In this mode the surroundings sounds are amplified I can hear mom speaking, tv doing playing and still enjoy shure signature sound.
Overall a very good noise cancellation headphone you can be SHURE about
USB c cable- very good quality, charges under 2 hours. The charge lasts for 18-20 hours with Noise cancellation. It can be used to listen high res audio on pc too.
The headphone wires 2.5 to quality is very good too.
I have played audio using iPhone. Then used hidisz ap60 dac as well.
I am a long time user of a RHA T20 and was really stubborn to go onto anything else. These have changed that for me. I still prefer T20 over this, but for anything outdoor (where I don't want to carry wires), I'm using these. I do have my issues with these, primarily with the amount of space they take to store, but that's just a price I pay for good music. They are good. They're built well.
Good balanced sound with nice clarity & instruments separation. reasonable battery life , good call quality. Good multipoint connection. Negative points are: Ear pads become sweaty with the use of even only 2 hrs, Cheap plastic sliders/controls, All controls on side from top to bottom which are difficult to recognize & approach with headset on. Brown color looks good in the picture, but in real device it looks dull & cheap. I would love to change to black if Headphone Zone permits. Noise cancellation poor. Clamp pressure is mild but is there, not for long use as headset is heavy. Shure Play app rubbish. Comes nowhere near, Apple Airpods Pro2, Bose's any model, Sony 1000 XM4, Sennheiser Momentum 4. Overall disappointing at this price. Hyped headphone !!
