Sound stage is so well optimized in this thing.
I had read so many reviews about this thing , it is true.
Its true nature is revealed when you pair it with an amp.
Even in BT s it is good.
Better than buying expensive earbuds, Which i bought before this and returned RHA ma750.
If you are into music, M50x will do.
These headphones are like the way i expected them to be.The packaging of these where damn good when they arrived so all thanks to Headphones Zone. There sound is flat and there adjustment is damn good . As per also using Sony mdr xb950N1 so there dynamic voice is not like them but there flat voice is like them or little more as per some clear sound. The main difference is quality of product as per durability as sony plastic is not that good you need to take care of them too much but as per Audio tech you don't as per sony.In sony you get bass effect more but Audio tech is missing that. The main prob i face with them is with Bluetooth as you can pair this Bluetooth with only one device while using it. If you having only other question you can text me i will be happy to help you .
I made this purchase on 6th of November, 2019, about an year after it was released. Till this date a lot of headphones had been released but I still think that there isn't any other headphones in the market that compares to ATH-M50XBT...provided that the sound profile must be flat and the price bracket must be within 13K . The mids are very rich and smooth ,the bass is punchy and just enough to for you to feel and enjoy the music and the treble is shape and clear. These headphones are a little bit heavy with 300g of weight but it won't be that big of an issue. These headphones are not for heavy bass heads who just want to feel the music but instead these are for someone who wants to have a heartfelt and soulful time with his musics on par with feeling it. I have been listing to my playlist on these headphones and I could differentiate between the vox and effects that were far behind and were muffled due to heavy bass on other headphones. As for the production work these headphones excel and are just amazing. Sony has XB-950N1 and WH-H900N as its competitor which uses software to get that dynamic sound which are great for casual listing but for production stuffs, not so great. Highly recommended as it delivers what it says and are not as those Beats headphones which are highly overpriced, with muddy bass as well as not so great mids and sound like cheap 1K earphones. I haven't tried it with and amp but still it is great and amazing value for money.
It very good...using it since 3days..so far all good...a bit pricey but if it works the same for 5 years..then definately would be worth it
Ath m50xbt is the best budget headphone. The sound quality is great. It gives accurate sound frequencies. The lows, the mids and the highs are very accurate. Even in the wireless mode, they produce a similar sound. Every instrument is clearly audible. They are truly the legendary headphones.
I use this headphone for making master while working on NUENDO Platform.
It gives flat effect required in mastering of sounds. you need a flat monitor and this headphone to make your home recording studio complete and professional .
Had the m40x before so this was a natural progression. I have no complaints, it's perfect. Tweak the equalizer for best results so you find a setting you love.
On my first listen, I must admit that I was disappointed, that is especially considering the hype surrounding this specific model ATH-M50X. However, I decided to buy one home from the Headphone Zone offline store and I must say that I am not disappointed now. After a lot of listening, I love the sound now. Lovely treble, satisfying bass response which is not overwhelming nor lacking. There is something about the sound signature of ATH-M50X that makes me love it for casual listening. I guess I was disappointed on the first listen because I expected this to stand out in either the mids, bass or treble response. This is just about the right balance of mids, treble and bass for me and even my friend who tried this on. I also own a BGVP DM6 which is nowhere comparable to ATH-M50X because the aspects like sound stage and overall presentation is very different on each of these. I love both my pairs, just that they are both good for different purposes. ATH-M50X for a nice relaxing listen and BGVP DM6 for a highly engaging, sharp, full of detail feel. That doesn't mean ATH-M50X lacks details, this one is good at giving that natural tonality and the speaker sound that most of us are used to, just that BGVP DM6 is a balanced armature set that sounds different and is not that natural in its tonality, at least not in comparison to the typical dynamic driver headphone or speakers. I am yet to try these on a high-res DAP or DAC/AMP setup. Currently driving these off of my laptop and Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (Exynos variant). Pretty happy with my purchase.
It’s not that great what I expected comparing to the price
