Why it Sounds Amazing
š Dynamic Driver
The dynamic powerhouse of your sound ā”!
We believe dynamic drivers are like the "reliable workhorses" of the headphone world they've been perfected over decades and continue to deliver incredible performance. This driver design uses a lightweight diaphragm attached to a voice coil suspended within a permanent magnetic field, enabling precise and responsive movement that produces sound with remarkable efficiency. Think of them like precision engines that convert electrical energy into acoustic energy with impressive power and naturalness.
Dynamic drivers excel at delivering powerful and authoritative bass reproduction, clear midrange frequencies, and vibrant high frequencies. The inherent strengths ensure your music is reproduced with impressive dynamics and energy that stays true to the artist's intent š¶.
When you see "š Dynamic Driver" products, expect energetic, natural sound with excellent dynamics that bring every note and beat to life with exceptional realism.
šÆļø Dark Sound Signature
We've found that a dark sound signature is like listening by candlelight. Nothing is sharp, nothing is bright, and nothing ever pokes at you. The edges of the music are softened, leaving a smooth and thick presentation that you can sit inside for hours. It is the tuning we reach for late at night, or when a recording is rough and needs a friend šÆļø.
Here's what's actually happening. The treble is deliberately rolled off, which leaves the bass and midrange in charge of the presentation. Worth knowing how this differs from warm: dark is subtractive, it takes treble away, while warm is additive, it puts bass and body in. A headphone can be one without being the other. The trade off is air. You lose some sparkle and fine detail, and pushed too far a dark tuning can sound veiled.
When you see "šÆļø Dark Sound Signature" products, expect smooth, fatigue free listening that forgives bad recordings and never gets sharp.
š¦ Smooth & Sweet Treble
Seeking something that sounds smooth and devoid of harshness š„°? We tend to describe these headphones as having "silk like highs" that caress your ears rather than assault them. These products are meticulously designed to deliver high frequencies that are wonderfully gentle, offering a listening experience that's both sophisticated and delightful. Think of it like the difference between premium chocolate and cheap candy both are sweet, but one provides refined pleasure while the other can be overwhelming.
The carefully tuned treble presentation ensures musical details come through with remarkable clarity while maintaining natural, fatigue free character. The refined high frequency presentation maintains excellent detail and air while avoiding any hint of harshness or stridency āØ.
When you see "š¦ Smooth & Sweet Treble" products, expect refined high frequencies that deliver crisp detail with a touch of sweetness and sophistication.
š£ Thick Bass / Kickass Bass
When We say kickass bass, Weāre talking about bass that slaps you right in the face in the best way possible. Itās that visceral, chest thumping low end that makes you feel like youāre in the front row of a concert or a nightclub. If youāre into hip hop, EDM, Bollywood beats, or anything with a deep groove, this is where the fun begins. šš„
Hereās whatās going on technically: the low frequency range is heavily emphasised, resulting in powerful sub bass rumble and impactful mid bass slam. This kind of tuning brings weight, warmth, and physicality to your music. The trade off? It might mask some midrange detail or high frequency sparkle but for bassheads, the emotional payoff is more than worth it.

Customers praised the warm sound signature with excellent clarity and bass that doesn't overpower mids. Many noted "punches way above its price point" with fantastic vocals and instrumental detail. Build quality is robust and lightweight for extended comfort. However, requires a DAC/amp to shine; some found volume low without amplification. Cable quality received mixed feedback. A few customers felt it didn't meet expectations at this price.
- Punches way above its price point and delivers amazing clarity!
- Combined with the iFi hip dac2, the music quality is excellent. Great value for money.
- The quality of sound from these bullet shaped cans trumps it all.
Every note has richness, if you want it's original signature sound you should listen in Sony walkman costs between 25-70k, and that too only in apple music... š
Hey Thilak, thank you so much for the awesome review!
Hey, this might be a bit long but bear with me. I already have a pair of SONY WH-1000XM4s since 2020. I have a diverse taste in music, everything from Mozart to ODESZA to Eminem to Jean-Michel Jarre. All my playlists are offline and in Lossless. My XM4s were good but they struggled in many songs because the bass is too high and a bit muddy. I tried my friendās E2000s and then decided it was time to listen to my music PROPERLY. So, after discussing this with him, I bought myself a pair of E4000s, now I can hear details I have never heard before. I will definitely be buying more IEMs in the future. A V-signature this time, for Phonk and EDMs. Hopefully Iāll get them soon.
Hey Kinshuk, thanks a lot for this amazing review and we are glad you are enjoying it! Keep the music playing.
deceptively simplistic, extremely well built with a focus on clear and crisp sound. š
Thank you for your amazing review!
A clear upgrade to my beloved Final E3000. Better extensions at both ends with a superbly articulated stage. Vocals and mid bass are excellently executed. That's how you tune a dynamic driver.
Resolution and layering may not be at par with my benchmark planar, Shuoer S12, but E4000 makes up for everything once you listen to wind and string instruments. That organic sound is honey to the ears.
Although the stock cable is great (huge improvement over the E3000 cable), this benefits from a good pure silver cable resulting in better extension in the treble region and improved instrument separation.
Also, this scales well with clean power, so if you have a good DAC/Amp then this is an easy recommendation.
Hey there, nothing makes us happier than knowing you loved your purchase, hope you had a comfortable shopping experience and thank you for the great review and ratings!
This is my 2nd Final Audio IEM after the E3000. I love the E3000 and wanted something that was a bit warmer and picked these up and am very happy. The E4000 punches way above it's price point and delivers amazing clarity! Vocals and stringed instruments sound fantastic and the bass is present without hindering the mids or the highs. No fatigue even after listening for 4 - 5 hours at a stretch. I have run through many genres and the earphone held up brilliantly. The construction is top notch and there, really, is nothing to complain about. I run it through the Fiio KA11 from my phone as of now and the soundstage and separation is fantastic!
If you like warm IEMs, I would wholly recommend this.
Please note that a DAC/AMP is an absolute must and the Fiio JA11 didn't do it justice but the KA11 drives it very well indeed.
Thanks Sai Kiran for the DAC suggestion. And the Headphone Zone team for prompt delivery!
Love this review, youāve summed up the E4000 experience perfectly!
Itās such a special IEM for those who enjoy a warm, smooth, and deeply musical presentation, and pairing it with the KA11 was a stellar move. That combo really lets the clarity, separation, and comfort-first tuning shine through without fatigue, even on those marathon 5-hour sessions.
Hereās to many more great discoveries on your audio journey with us. Keep the music playing!āØ
I must say coming from hexa i wanted a warm iem and e4000 has certainly met or exceeded my expectations.
So glad the E4000 hit the mark for you! Love that it exceeded your expectations. Keep the music playing!
As usual Japanese tech always mesmerizing, please bring more bullet IEM's I know its very rare these of IEM's made nowadays. Thanks for swift delivery.

Hi Pradeep,
It's sad to hear that the Final - E4000 didn't meet your expectations. We believe sound is subjective and hence, IEMs that you didn't like can be absolutely loved by someone else.
Having said that, we'll be more than happy to help you find a pair of IEMs that match your taste the best.
Final - E4000
Weāre so grateful for your fantastic rating!
For normal casual day to day listening with comfort.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and for the awesome ratings!
Loved the aesthetics and the design language.
Sound impressions (paired with Moondrop Dawn Pro):
Pink Floyd - Great - (Shine on you crazy Daimonds)
Prog Metal - Surprisingly Good (didn't expect) - (cafo - Animals as leaders)
Classical Symphonies - Great - (Beethoven / Schubert)
Brass Heavy Symphonies - Not recommended - (Mahler / Shostakovich / Prokofiev)
Soft Tamil movie songs: Nice
This E4000 was generally great for softer songs, especially featuring rich instrumental details, like an acoustic guitar passage.
It also also performed well on slightly heavier songs due to decent bass, though it may not be ideal for extremely bass-heavy genres.
Unfortunately, after two days of listening, I had to it return them owing to personal preference --turns out I am not comfortable with IEMS for extended use. So I had to return the pair of earphones that I really liked.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for the Final - E4000.
I bought this for travel purposes, as carrying full-sized headphones is not easy. The sound is pretty good, sound signature quite similar Sennheiser HD650 that I love. Combined with the iFi hip dac2, the music quality from final e4000 is excellent. Build quality is also good. Great value for money.
Thanks for your review!
I was of two minds about buying E4000. I have used the E2000 and E3000, I still have them and they still work well. I like Final Audio's build, sound signature and warranty. I had used their warranty in the past, so I didn't have much worry about possibly getting a manufacturing defect in a much more expensive set of earphones from Final Audio. I will probably eventually upgrade to the E5000 in the future. But for now, I think I'll need a much better DAC to bring the E4000's full potential to light. I have been eyeing the Topping DX1 DAC, if it gets a nice discount here then I'll buy it. If an headphonezone employee is reading this, put the Topping DX1 DAC on a discount, you'll get a sale :^)
Thankyou for your review! we will consider your suggestion.
Damm suprised with the way it's representing all the reverb tails and delays because most of it gets lost when you use a ear phone and a very well balanced representation of frequencies throughout the spectrum . I have carried it for one of my gigs as an inear but was tricky the first time but got used to it . Love it for what it does damn nice š
Hey there, thank you for the great review and ratings!

Final - E4000
Not even close to my sony wf-1000xm4.
Not value for money l.
Sound not good. Expected Better performance. Should have been better at this price range. Over looks is quite standard/ normal. The earpiecs looks better... Built is good. Left earpiece has an issue with my left ear. Rest is fine. Over all not what I expected at this cost.
We really appreciate the genuine feedback, we'll share your thoughts with the brand as well!
