Keeping your entire collection of Hi-Resolution music in one place is the most convenient way of carrying your music library. However, Hi-Resolution files are heavy. Most songs in a FLAC format can be about 100mb per track. So more space is always better.


Most players support both internal storage and expandable storage via an external memory card. Make sure you check both - the internal memory on players, and consider the maximum supported size of the expandable storage. It’s best to keep your library of offline files in expandable storage and use the internal storage for saving files from streaming apps.

Good Beginner audiophile DAP

This is a very good beginner audiophile DAP, its little on the expensive side but totally worth it. There are no apps to support this which is the reason I'm docking off a point. To create playlist you either rely on in player mechanism which is tedious, would have improved the experience 100 times better if there is mobile or desktop app like iTunes.
Other than that the product is very good, sound signature is good, supports USB-C dongle too, which was a welcome surprise. Once again HPZ did well on delivery side and got playlist booklet which I loved it.

Small but packs a punch

Wanted a budget player for my CA Honeydew. Honeydew are bass heavy. But paired with the AP80 they sound sublime. Punch and resolution.

The overall sound envelope is pretty broad which is nice. However, the quality of the output is average. If you're listening to classical music, the output gets painful on a flat channel. I tuned the equalizer and that helped a little but the output sound had decreased drastically. Overall, a little disappointed. Great service by headphone-zone though!!
