What does "ships within 24/48 hours" mean?

In a nutshell, ships within 24/48 hours basically means that your product will be shipped out or dispatched from our warehouse within 24/48 hours after placing the order. It also indicates that the products are readily available at our warehouse and once we receive your order, we dispatch it out at the earliest either on the same day or the next working day depending on when you’ve placed your order.


What it does not mean:

A lot of our customers assume that it means their order will get delivered to them within 24/48 hours, but that’s not what it means. For an order to reach you, it can take anywhere up to 3-4 business days, depending on which part of India you are placing an order from.

For an accurate timeline, you can enter your pin code on the product page and check for an estimated date of arrival.

In case you receive the iFi Audio - hip-dac 3 with a manufacturing defect, please raise a return request within 7 days of delivery.

However, if you receive an incorrect / damaged / different product or one with missing accessories, please raise a return request within 24 hours of delivery. In case you receive a product with a missing, incorrect, or faulty accessory, you will be given a replacement accessory instead of the entire product.

Please make sure that the product is in the original packaging with all the accessories it came with. We'll also need an unboxing video and images of the parcel to investigate about the discrepancy. You may be asked to share images of the product and the packaging received for us to determine the damage or defect prior to approving the return request. The free replacement will be shipped only once the original order is returned.

A replacement will be issued only if:

- It is found to be defective
- It is determined that the product was not damaged while in your possession

Amazing product.

Had listened Tanha Tanha -- Composed by A R Rahman saheb, through a headphone lent by a kind hearted person when I was in my 12th standard. Din't know it was Audiophile Headphone back then. Was smitten back then and was vying for that experience. After 15 years when I could afford . IFI HIP DAC 3, paired it with IE300 played the same song. Brought back all the sweet memories and a few nostalgic moments.

Exceeded my expectation by miles!!

Before buying this dac I was in a dilemma whether to buy this or go for an IEM in the price range of 30k. I took my time and decided to go for this dac considering: 1) It would be useful even after upgrading my iem(currently I'm using simgot ew200 which is fantastic btw).
2) It can be charged and it reduces the battery consumption of the phone to a great extent
3) Even if it didn't meet my expectations with the improvement in the quality of sound, it would definitely add the bass that was missing in my iem
So I went ahead and bought this product. Believe me when I say this, I was blown away by the changes it brought to my music listening experience. At higher volume my iem was a bit sibilant but this dac reduced it and smoothened the treble still maintaining the clarity. The soundstage is a bit wider now though not too much, it has definitely gotten wider. Xbass is the showstopper. Bass is soo oo good, you have to listen to it to believe it. Its got that slam and punch and it rumbles so good. Its like the iem has got a sub woofer now. The overall quality has improved so much that you get to hear all the nuances in the music. Its like you are hearing your favourite songs for the first time.
Battery backup is also very good. Once you charge to 100% you can use it for about 5.5hrs with 40-60% volume before it comes down to 20%
How can I forget the build quality before ending this review, Its built like a tank. Feels so sturdy. The volume Knob is something I didn't know I was missing. Its too good. Overall, I'm more than satisfied with this product. Great job by ifi, you got yourself a loyal customer now!!
Guys If you are thinking to buy this just stop thinking and buy it. This will be your best buy, i can assure you that. This is the best 18k I've ever spent in my life.

A worthy upgrade!

I upgraded from the iFi Go Link and I am very delighted, so much so that I can't seem to put it away and pick up the Go Link anymore. HIP DAC 3's performance as such is not a surprise because it is much of what I came to expect at this price point. My IEM setups are as below:

Casual Listening sessions: Tripowin Piccolo + Stock IEM cables + iFi Go Link

Serious/Active Listening sessions: 1Custom Junior + Tripowin Petrichor Balanced cable with 4.4mm connector + iFi HIP DAC 3

I bought these for my 1Custom Junior and they go great with it. With my phone, the volume output seems to be somewhat low and I am unable to figure out how to improve that. The combo works well with my laptop. I use it with both PowerMatch and XBass turned on and the battery lasts for about 5-6 hours. The DAC makes the music so much more full-bodied. I have the IEMatch turned off because it only brought down the volume too much for me.

The audio quality, soundstage and imaging are just so much more refined, you can actually get a sense of the top-notch hardware inside and the tuning done to achieve this. And it shows on the outside as well. The volume knob and the buttons are a joy to use.

The only other gripe I have is that the lights around the volume knob are always Green, no matter what the source of music may be. I don't know if that requires a firmware update and how to do it. It doesn't bother me much, but I wish it showed the exact format being played.

It has been a while since I used Bluetooth earphones and it surprises me. Overall, this DAC is worth investing in and I think I am set for Hi Res music for the next few years!

Feels like a hug

I purchased the hip dac for 2 main reasons:

1. The looks
2. Xbass

It looks fantastic and purposeful and it feels very well built. I love the way it feels in hand, although it can be slightly cumbersome to use along with a phone. The usb c cable in tbe box works (but it is a little stiff) and I have used it with any other usb c cable and they all work fine.

The xbass is exceptionally comfortable. I enjoy a lot of different kinds of music with it on the the sound from this feels like a warm, cushy pillow nestling soflty beneath my head. I am thoroughly enjoying listening to these and would recommend it to anyone who appreciates purposefully listenning to their music.

Something for Bassheads

One of the best by IFI. The bass is hard and punchy, the IE match is for heavy metal and death metal folks and also add’s fun to edm’z and phonks. I love the output. I use Sivga Oriole and Mezze 99 with hip dac 3 and the output is incredible.

You Can't Go Wrong with iFi

This is my 2nd DAC after purchasing the Go Link. Became a fan of iFi since day 1, and this one completely blew me away. This is the true natural output I was yearning for with absolutely no coloration (I made an entire video of DAC coloring on YouTube to explain how the Go Link differs from the Hip DAC). The Hip DAC 3 is kind of future proof since it has the ability to power even demanding headphones like the HD 600 / 650 etc.

And how can someone not talk about XBass --- MAN ! That is something else, a natural bass shelf for people like me who want to turn on "Party Mode". It's so nicely done by iFi and I absolutely love it.
