Warranty & Repairs

Every product we sell comes with manufacturer warranty. If something goes wrong, we'll help you get it fixed or replaced.

Warranty covers manufacturing defects only. Not wear and tear, not accidental damage. The kind of thing that shouldn't happen with normal use.

First, Find Your Brand

Warranty works differently depending on the brand. Some brands have us handle everything. Others have their own service partners.

On your brand's page, you'll find:
  • Warranty period (typically 1 year for products, 6 months for accessories)
  • What's covered and what isn't
  • The warranty claim form (if we handle it) or contact details for the brand's service partner

How Warranty Claims Work

If Headphone Zone handles your brand's warranty:
  1. Fill the claim form on your brand's warranty page. Describe the issue in as much detail as you can. The more specific, the faster we can help.
  2. We review and approve within 24 hours. You'll get a Warranty Case ID (WCID) by email.
  3. Ship the product to us. You cover shipping to our Chennai warehouse. Write your WCID clearly on the package.
  4. We inspect. This takes 7-10 working days. We test for the exact issue you described.
  5. We resolve. Once we confirm the defect, we'll repair or replace the unit and ship it back at our cost.

If another service partner handles your brand's warranty:

Contact them directly using the details on your brand's warranty page. Your Headphone Zone invoice is your proof of purchase. If you run into trouble getting a resolution, let us know and we'll escalate on your behalf.

What's Covered (and What's Not)

What's Covered

Warranty is for things that shouldn't happen with normal use:
  • No sound output or sound only on one side
  • Won't charge or won't turn on
  • Buttons not working
  • Connectivity issues
  • Noise or distortion that shouldn't be there

What's Not Covered

Warranty doesn't cover damage from use or accidents:
  • Cable fraying from use
  • Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents)
  • Water damage
  • Damage from drops or accidents
  • Animal or pest damage
  • Accessories that have worn out normally

If we find physical damage during inspection, the warranty won't apply. We'll return the unit to you as it is.

Good to Know

Keep your invoice handy.

It's your proof of purchase and tells us whether you're still in the warranty period. Don't have it? Download it from your account: Log in → My Orders → Download Invoice. Or reach out and we'll send it.

Warranty starts from the invoice date.

A product bought on January 15, 2024 with a 1-year warranty is covered until January 15, 2025.

You ship to us, we ship back.

For brands we service, you cover shipping to our Chennai warehouse. We cover the return. Use any reliable courier and share the tracking number with us.

Repair or replacement depends on the issue.

If just one part is faulty, like a cable, we'll replace that part. If the whole unit is defective, you'll get a full replacement. We can't promise brand new vs. unboxed, but we promise fully working.

No refunds under warranty.

Warranty covers repair or replacement only, not store credit or refunds. This is standard across all brands we carry.

If your product has been discontinued.

You'll get the successor model or a different colour variant. We'll confirm with you before shipping anything.
