The FiiO FD11 was developed as a product in the "Bionic Conch" line that aims to outperform its price range in terms of both sound and aesthetics. The FD11's distinct sense of flow was achieved using high-end techniques and cutting-edge elements like the C-shaped acoustic flute taking the sound quality to a new level by producing a "truly cohesive unified" sound. It is appropriate for vocal-heavy, folk, and other musical genres, paying particular attention to vocals. The FD11 is also Hi-Res Audio certified, established by the Japan Audio Society (JAS) and Consumer Electronics Association (CEA).
NOTE: FiiO's "Little Conch" earphone series is only compatible with FiiO upgrade cables.
FEATURES A 10MM CARBON-BASED DYNAMIC DRIVER FOR AN EXHILARATING PERFORMANCE
The FiiO FD11 utilises a 10mm carbon-based dynamic driver that significantly enhances its audio performance. The carbon-based material has a tensile strength of nine times greater than steel and is ideal for the diaphragm because it is lighter than aluminium, beryllium, and other materials. Due to minimal breakup during driver movement, the carbon-based diaphragm produces a highly responsive and detailed driver response that can easily handle quick transients with little distortion.
SECOND-GENERATION DUAL ASYMMETRIC INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL MAGNETIC CIRCUIT
The FiiO FD11 uses N52 neodymium magnets in second-generation asymmetric internal and external magnetic circuit systems. The dual magnetic circuit design of the FD11 has been optimised using finite element simulation to produce a stronger magnetic field than a typical dynamic driver's single internal or external magnetic circuit system. As a result, the magnetic field density increases, enabling a stronger drive of the diaphragm for a more "robust" sound with improved transient response.
DUAL CAVITY DYNAMIC DRIVER DELIVERS EXCEPTIONAL BASS RESPONSE
The damping control system is installed in the inner and outer chambers of the dynamic driver's rear. This system precisely controls airflow, thus reducing distortion and allowing the diaphragm to move more freely without breaking up.
