In this price range we have other dacs like moondrop dawn pro and tanchjim space which even offers 4.4 balanced out, i still choose this dac as it has the best implementation out there. It brings out the hidden treble sparkle yet it doesn't make it sound shouty, neither does it add any warmth or colour to the sound. It’s as neutral as it could be. I even thought of dc04 pro but even that adds some coloration to the sound. The soundstage is exceptionally wide and the depth is great. It has sufficient power to resolve any 1/dd IEM. I owned questyle m15 I must say that the soundstage depth of dc03 pro and the single ended output is more than m15.
If you are someone who loves to hear nuances without having any alterations to the original sound you should blindly get this dac.
Few nitpics which are subjective:
- usb cable wobbles however music playback doesnt stop or any kind of disruption.
- glass body prone to fingerprints
- hi res sticker on a metal dac body feels cheap.

I’m using the ibasso dc03pro with kx zex iems. At first I didn’t find any sound difference between them and my yamaha tw e3b. Then I gave them some time to burn in and then is when I started to feel the difference. It is my first dac and iems and my first time listening to hifi audio from my iphone. It feels like songs have got a new dimension to them which was missing in my yamahas.

It is a good looking device with pleasant,clean sound.Volume control buttons work independently and are having nice feedback.The usb c to usb c bundled cable is a bit stiff.Latest version of app is available on ibasso website.

Samsung S20 FE with Soundmagic E10s. Disappointed that Samsung doesn't recognise the dac as confirmrd by your staff. Found an annoying way to use it i.e plug in, restart and press ok to allow usage. A warning at the ordering stage would have helped. As for the sound its pretty flat without using eq, but I had to use eq (Poweramp) to get some bass (clean but not well defined). Vocals, midrange and hf are better than before to some degree (24 bit FLAC). For 6k is this worth? I really do not know. This is my first dac by the way.
Hey there, we're so sorry to hear you're facing issues, Samsung tends to have issues with external outputs, we'd recommend doing a USB debugging using a reference video.
I was using audiocular CX 31993 single chip DAC for my IEMs previously. This is definitely a way better in all aspects nd a significant upgrade.
Build quality is premium nd the grey version looks very cool.
I have started loving it from the 1st connect itself. The sound output was more CCC (clean, clear, crisp). Everything was very well balanced. Treble had smooth edges. Never experienced any fatiguing. Top notch performance nd a very rich audio experience overall.
I haven't experimented anything much on the app so can't say about it now..
My only concern is the movement of cable at the DAC end. Otherwise everything is satisfactory. It doesn't cause any audio issue..
I can recommend this to anyone who want a clean, crisp nd clear sound with no compromise on the technicalities. Under 6K it's a blind buy.. you won't be disappointed..

I was satisfied with my Blon BL-03 and VE Odyssey HD combo. But a few weeks ago the Odyssey died on me, so I did some due research and finalized this one. Got it for 5499 during the festival of sound sale.
I am quite satisfied with the DC03 Pro, it's better than the Odyssey HD. The bass has tightened ever so slightly, the highs sparkle a little more. Soundstage has marginally improved, but I don't think I'm fully utilising the power of this DAC with the Blon. It's good for a beginner-fi iem, but I'm ready for my mid-fi journey.
I'm thinking of pairing this DAC with the Simgot EA500 or the EA1000. Whichever I choose, I'll be updating this review with my observations. For now, colour me impressed.

This is my first DAC, I expected some marginal improvement in the sound quality (more like an EQ) but I was blown away by the quality of sound. I am using it with pixel 7pro and DT770PRO(apple music). Personally I noticed the instruments separation sounds better. Also I felt the sound to be more clear, well defined. The bass sounds more accurate and full.

I'm not a big audio guy but using this dac with my Sennheiser HD599 SE has given a different perspective in audio listening. Didn't knew my headphones were capable to this kind of output before using this dac.

Was pretty excited when I saw DC03 pro with discounts, being already pumped up by all the reviews and Andy praising it prowess, went ahead and ordered it. This being my first DAC, just like the pug in HPZ mailer I was eagerly waiting for it to be delivered.
The packaging was nice as usual with all the quick Spotify playlist cards. I was patient for the first 2-3 weeks for my ears to set in for the change introduced.
My listening setup
- Mi 11 Lite NE
- iBasso DC03 pro
- Tin T3+
I will go ahead listing all the pros followed by cons.
Pros:
-Good soundstage and instrumental separation.
- Almost true to life instruments
- Literally cleared all the harshness( never I realised the harshness before using the DAC) that was there before.
Cons:
- This was kind of deal breaker for me, the vocals were well wrapped by the instruments. I kind of like the vocal being the center of music, this DAC though enhances all the instruments, tends to mellow down the vocals.
- iBasso UAC app, very poor implementation. All the filters are available only through the app. Only the turbo and gain settings had a perceivable difference. To use it you have to open up the app when the DAC is connected and opt for the settings. Then open up your favourite music player (I used Hiby and USB Audio Player pro). If we keep switching(to check the filters) between the apps audio would suddenly stop(crash maybe?). When I connected back it was running in full volume 😡.
- No buttons for switching tracks.
Neutral:
- volume buttons on the DAC.
- 0-100 steps volume control.
- no mic support.
With the first con I realised the Android's own decoding was better for me than the DACs , though I have to live with the harshness for sometime. With heavy heart I decided to let go of this DAC. I realised HPZ was a great place to sell your gears and kudos to the team for following it up.
As a beginner audiophile i can only give a honest feedback based on my experience. I have been using my Tripowin TC01 without a DAC for almost a year. I have been using it for streaming, gaming and music.
After seeing a few reviews of DACs I was convinced to get one.
Finally bought this one and it definitely enhanced my overall experience wheather it be watching movies, playing games or hearing music (apple music).
Got me thinking i should have done this earlier.

It's goes quite well with my KZ ZEX PRO which is gives the bass and enhances the highs in how it should sound. I purchased iBasso DC03Pro along with the FiiO LT-LT1 cable to connect the DAC to an iPhone 13. The combination worked without any issue, and I was listening to music within minutes. I own an Astell & Kern XB10 and am happy with it, but I still bought the DC03 Pro after viewing Raghav's YouTube video where he reviewed DACs.

I tested this DAC with Apple’s lossless streaming and with Spotify with the streaming quality set to ‘Very High’. The IEMs I own are iBasso IT00 and KZ ZS10Pro. The KZs sound so much better with this DAC than the iBasso IEMs but then again, it is a personal opinion.
I had heard high quality audio without an external DAC and the experience was great. But listening to high quality audio with a DAC is taking that experience to the next level. I understood what it means when people use the term “opens up the soundstage”. The audio is rich, layered, and excellent, every instrument is clearly audible and there is a lot of detail. Every genre of music sounds great. I carve out some time in my day nowadays just to listen to music.
While the DAC is great, the app has multiple problems.
1. The app does not mention iBasso anywhere. It is named BRAVO-HD Audio CPL and the publisher is SaviTech Corp. It seems like a third-party application. Cyber security incidents are rampant nowadays and I was unsure whether to trust an application that the manufacture does not brand.
2. I could not get it started on Windows 11. If the device is connected, the application does not start and if the device is disconnected, the application starts and disappears if I connect the device.
I am not sure at this moment if changing the parameters of the DAC will cause any notable difference, but I will update this review once I have had the opportunity to use the app.
