iFi Audio - AC iPurifier

I have been watching over this product for years, wondering if this is worth it for my headphone system. Now my setup has been upgraded to what many consider to be "cost effect end-game", I have pulled the trigger and bought this.
I'm very glad that this is exactly what I needed at this point. After plugging this, little bit of ~40-60 hz bass bloat gets cleared up, which increases the clarity of subbass, increases dynamic range by reducing the noise floor, increases instrument separation and midrange clarity overall.

If you have noticed your system to sound better after midnight and sound a bit worse in the evening time, then this device can help you get the same quality through-out.

My setup: Lenovo Mini PC -> Ifi USB Ipurifier 3 -> Topping D30 Pro -> Aune S17 Pro / Topping A70 Pro -> Hifiman Arya Stealth / HD 600

This product is something to consider for, only after upgrading the other components in the audio chain to a certain level.

Wow! I bought this item without much expectations but I was pleasantly surprised at how much of a positive difference it made. Both my tv and avr and a couple of other devices are connected on either side of the IFI AC power purifier and everything works at least 75 percent better than before. Great service by Headphone Zone.
Just one thing more worth mentioning is that it may be necessary to buy a socket adapter for its LED lights to glow green. As it is bother LEDs are glowing red. Have ordered the socket adapter from Amazon and hopefully it will prove to be effective. Can still use the device even if LEDs are red

iFi Audio - AC iPurifier

I bought this for my AV receiver and Stereo Amplifier and was wondering if I should buy a power conditioner. Needless to say it worked, and everything was clearer and cleaner, and the muffled-ness of my audio system was removed by a large extent.

I already had an AC ipurifier which i installed on the distribution box. I installed one more in the empty mains socket next to the one on which my audio system is connected. It immediately made a positive difference in terms of clarity, the bass was more firm, the sibilance reduced and soundstage became wider. You need to run it continuously for more than 100 hours to get the results. the SQ on my system is improving everyday as more hours are put on the AC ipurifier.

Honestly I was apprehensive when I ordered the ifi AC Purifier. Most products of this nature fall flat when it comes to actual performance.

I started questioning my doubts after holding the Purifier in my hands. It's a wonderfully built and finished product! An reassuringly weighty for its minuscule proportions.

Though I had a fair idea about the noise floor my amp+components produced, checked them individually again ( normally i select the source on my Audiolab 6000A, then turn on the particular sour ce but do not play anything. Them I raise up the volume all the way to check how much inherent noise is audible ).

My Aune Audio X5S shows almost negligible distortion, followed by the SACD player, Blu Ray deck and finally the phono-stage for my turntable.

After the Purifier was plugged in to the first slot of my Belkin power strip and greenlighted the power supply, I ran the same tests once again.

And OMG, not a single component except the phono stage made any audibke noise! As the results were stupefying, I ran them again!
Silence!

So, this little trick actually works damned well!

Coming to the product, simply awesome !!!! I had issues of ground noise and the moment I plugged it in, all noises disappeared. Would recommend this product highly for your system.

Please include American plugs along with other since in India we have either Indian or American plugs not British

This is not a review against Headphonezone.in, but for the iFi product. I have not seen any effect of this product on the sound of my music system either subjectively or objectively. The claims about running this for 100s of hour to get the benefits are baseless. I have used it for about 6 months now with daily 2 to 3 hours of usage (plugged into APC power strip). It will only add to your electricity bill (it runs warm, so some electricity is being used). IMHO, you will be better off in saving the money and buying a better speaker or a DAC - this is proven way to provide instant and noticeable improvements.
