However, if you receive an incorrect / damaged / different product or one with missing accessories, please raise a return request within 24 hours of delivery. In case you receive a product with a missing, incorrect, or faulty accessory, you will be given a replacement accessory instead of the entire product.

Please make sure that the product is in the original packaging with all the accessories it came with. We'll also need an unboxing video and images of the parcel to investigate about the discrepancy. You may be asked to share images of the product and the packaging received for us to determine the damage or defect prior to approving the return request. The DAC chip is powered by a 16-core XMOS microcontroller, which processes the audio data received at the USB input. iFi’s in-house engineers have programmed the XMOS firmware in the Go Bar to optimize the sound quality and ensure an excellent partnership with the Cirrus Logic DAC. The iFi Audio GO Bar offers sonic tailoring options with two analog and four digital filters. The digital filter has the options of Standard, Bit-Perfect (non-oversampling), Minimum Phase, and GTO (Gibbs Transient Optimised), which can be selected according to preference. Alongside iFi’s familiar analog processing modes, Go Bar offers XBass+ and XSpace, which can be switched in or out of the signal path according to your choice, offering you a personalized listening experience. The first is XBass+, a sophisticated form of bass boost that enhances low frequencies without muddying the midrange, particularly useful with earphones and open-back headphones that may lack deep bass. The second is XSpace, a setting designed to compensate for the in-head localization effect which can occur when using headphones to listen to music, effectively widening the headphone soundstage to deliver you a spacious and speaker-like listening experience.

IFI Go Bar

Pros:
It sounds spacious, smooth and detailed. The digital filter modes, the XBass and the XSpace add subtle changes to the sound. The sound changes by XBass and XSpace are more apparent than that of the digital filters. I personally like the GTO filter. The volume control option is handy. I listen by setting the source volume to 100% and changing the volume using the volume keys. There is no EMI noise or other noise even with my sensitive IEM.

Cons:
The writings on the front are hard to see.
The volume and filter buttons on the side are short and are not easy to feel.

Comparison with Cayin RU6:
I feel that the feature switching option using the OLED screen on RU6 is more intuitive than the LED option provided by the Go Bar.
I feel that the GO Bar has better high frequency and low frequency extension and better detail retrieval than the RU6.
The RU6 is less fatiguing than the Go Bar for longer listening sessions.

Excellent DAC

With Apple launching the HD streaming service, I was looking for a DAC and IEM. I was searching for a portable DAC for my iPhone and iPad and came across this new launch. Claiming to be the most powerful in its class and with specs such as cirrus logic DAC chip, Balanced 4.4 output, and four selectable filter and IEM match features, I was hoping it would be good. Going with positive reviews, I bought this immediately when it was again in stock.

What a massive difference in sound compared to the tiny sounding apple 3.5 dongle. This is one beautiful sounding DAC. I have paired it with moon drop Blessing 2, and this combo is very musical and satisfying. I am discovering new nuances of music from the same tracks, which the musician in me appreciates a lot...

The only issue I have found till now is the visibility of what is printed on the body, but once you are used to which led means what, it is not a big issue. The rest of the design feels premium.
I would recommend this to anyone looking to buy an excellent portable DAC for his phone for IEM or headphones. You are not going to regret it.

Portable power!!! Soild Build...!

Was looking for an amp to power my iems while listening losseless from apple music . IFI go bar completed the search for now. The sound is spacious. Able to listen to details through my FIIO 5hs . Happy with the purchase. Initially the 'bar' was getting warm.During continuous usage it became normal. Battery consumption from mobilephone while using the GO Bar is not at worrying levels. Able to have a peaceful listening experience.
