First of all, very comfy. Context, i was using ie200 before these. Hd 560s r so detailed that i dont like them in some songs. The seperation is not good when u just wanna enjoy some music. Also i think its just open back design byt i feel the impact of drums is very lacking e.g. heart shaped box by nirvana. Otherwise they are great for analysing no doubt there AT ALL. But if i could go back and have something else, i wont think twice cz i dont do music production.
HD 560s offers excellent value proposition for those transitioning from iem to open back experience. When paired with Hiby R4, they deliver a new musical sauce comprising airy sound stage and separation than the closed back models. While the stock 3.5 mm is functional, upgrading to 4.4 mm balanced cable noticeably improves the sound stage and instrument separation. Not for bass heads, but the bass is tight with decent decay. As specified, HD 560s are neutral and flat suitable for Jazz, acoustic instruments and clasical genres. Lightweight built and the veleor pads are comfortable for long listening sessions in quite environment. Usable with low powered devices, but HD 560s truly shines with better amplification.

Best sounding post tuning paired up with fiio ka13
These are a fantastic pair of headphones for the price. There is plenty of detail, instrument separation is nice, good amount of bass for an open back, and treble is enhanced but not to the point to cause unwanted sibilance. Overall, the sound is very neutral. However, everyone's hearing is different and preference also varies. To me, these sound good but would have liked a little more warmth in vocals, and ever-so slightly recessed treble. Then again, these are not issues, just personal preferences, and one can EQ them easily to their liking. These are sensitive enough to be played directly with your mobile devices. Also, one should disable the in-built sound enhancements such as Dirac and Dolby to get the best out of these headphones.
The only drawback is the comfort. They get quite hot and press against my head hard, causing headaches. However, the sound quality is just the best I've heard till now.

It's the best balanced headphone in this price.great value for money.if you are a bass head then it's not for you. It's great for who listens to clean neutral sounding Tracks.using it with Topping DX3pro+ it's great.also it comes with 120ohms impedance so need some more power than the budget Dac amps.

Got the HD 560s on sale, and it was the best pick for the price. The sound is dead flat with enough sub-bass and a slight treble peak for my taste, not sibilant, and rich Sennheiser mids. The song, which is mixed well, sounds unbelievable in this pair with a nice spacious, airy sound, really nice tonal balance, fast bass, and good clarity. The imaging and positioning are great for the money, making this headphone a great option for FPS gaming and movies. It's not a smooth sound signature and is not very warm. It's a very detailed reference sound, so poorly mixed songs might not be the best with it, and it finds the mistakes pretty well. So, it's a very reference-style tuning, but don't let that turn you away because the price-to-performance ratio and the sound are phenomenal and highly recommended. Might need at least a dongle DAC to power it; the ddhifi x Headphone Zone DAC/amp is giving out enough power for me to run it, but those needing more juice can opt for a budget amp/DAC solution. Not very power-hungry overall; pretty happy with the product. Clamp might be on the tighter side, and build is plastic but sturdy and doesn't feel very cheap but not premium. Cable is okay; can upgrade. Get a ModMic, and you've got yourself an all-rounder for all kinds of use for a great price.

Those who do not suffer from the illusion that more expensive a headphone the better it is, go for 560S.
Though it costs presently INR 16k only, in terms of sound quality and experience, it can compete with the headphones upto ten times more expensive.
In short, Sennheiser HD 560 S are simply superb!

I got the HD 560s predominantly for FPS gaming. However, I did A/B'ed it against my DT 900 PRO X, HD 599, Meze 99 Neo, ATH m50x and Razer Blackshark V2 in various use cases. Following are my findings,
Comfort and Endurance:
Long gaming or listening sessions demand headphones that prioritize comfort, and the HD 560S meets this need admirably. The lightweight design, coupled with plush ear cushions and an adjustable headband, guarantees comfort even during extended playtime. The breathable open-back design prevents discomfort caused by heat buildup, ensuring that the only heat you'll feel is from the intense gaming action itself. This comfort factor makes the HD 560S headphones an ideal choice for marathon gaming or listening sessions.
Wall-hack tier audio for the gamers:
The HD 560S headphones showcase Sennheiser's dedication to precision sound engineering. Equipped with open-back design and advanced transducer technology, they provide an expansive soundstage that engulfs gamers in a three-dimensional auditory environment. These can be best termed as neutral. The wide soundstage which works like wonder for gamers also boost the musical experience if you like that kind of feel instead of in-head sound. However, they are not as exciting as my DT 900 PRO X or even the cheaper HD 599. Please note that these need some aplification to shine.
In summary, the Sennheiser HD 560S headphones are a revelation for gamers who seek pin point accuracy. However, if you want to consume music using these then be sure that these are dead flat. You need trained ears to enjoy these. Overall, great headphone. If you are looking for a neutral headphone under 20k, then its the best option. all the hype around it is worth it. I feel Sennheiser has again created a headphone that will be around for decades.
I was looking for a neutral sounding openback to compliment Meze 99, and I don't think there is anything better in this price category.

The sennheiser HD560-s are an unpretentious set of headphones that work towards a very specific brief and meet it with precision!
They are light, comfortable and remain comfortable for hours on end. A point that usually gets missed in the pre buying phase of many great but painful to wear headphones and iemās.
They say analytical on the box and thatās what they deliver. Go in with eyes open and you wonāt be disappointed.
You can focus on specific instruments and form a very clear sonic image of them as they present themselves in the soundstage. You can also let them play your favourite songs as you go about your tasks and they are a great background listen as well. The twain rarely meet - so well done sennheiser!
Some points for those of you looking for answers that I was looking for;
These headphones are driven well by your iPhone or equivalent and produce the above mentioned pleasing sonic output. They may be improved by an amp and dac - but itās not a prerequisite (Please check the headphone safety setting if you donāt get sufficient volume on your first go. )
They work great also as WFH headset - you can get your better half to sign off on Yet Another Headphone Purchase :-) (you can pick up a mic enabled cable from sennheiserās website - originally meant for the 598c and priced at about 2k - photo attached)
Post purchase regret - None. Iām quite pleased with the headphones!
One thing to watch out for - the stock cable is looooong, heavy and terminates in a 6mm jack. A regular 3.5 mm adapter is packaged - but it all adds upto the weight.
All in all these are a solid GO!

These sound really good - exactly the nice warm balanced sound that we love from Sennheiser. It's overpriced at release in India at 19K ($260 as of Feb 2021), but I guess discounts will kick in once they aren't so fresh.
The build is sturdy but mostly plastic. I would definitely say my Beyerdynamic DT 880s feel more solid given their metal construction.
Nonetheless, very happy with Headphone Zone as always, and the sound of the 560s did not disappoint, despite not being burnt in fully.

Was concerned; if this thing sounds better than HD 599? And.. YES, it does; above and beyond..
Better depth, details; clarity; soundstage, bass; YES to ALL..

Honestly i really appreciate the support given by headphone zone.
