Shanling - MTW100

Sound Quality is very Nice , Voice is very Clear and Bass is Nice , not Punchy Bass.

Well i basically didn't like the sound coming from these shanling but thts you're personal choice. I thank headphonezone for getting me a replacement soon. One positive side of headphonezone is what ever they're selling is genuine and you get the best of the options.. Thank you

These sound absolutely heavenly. The balanced armature drivers are a win. The fit also is just perfect. Of all the tws I've tried, these are the only ones which I can use for long time without fatigue. The battery life is just wow. I easily get 7 hours or so on the buds. I wish the case had a better build quality, especially that flimsy hinge. I now have anxiety everytime I open it and it's constantly creaking and making noises when holding. And I wish it came with comply foam tips. That would have been amazing!

Version: Black BA

Design: Polished front and matt like finish from inside. Small LED on each bud to indicate charging status. Kinda like IEM design so it really fits good in ears. These are easily one of the lighter tws out there so you can wear them all day if you want to. Pebble shaped case, it’s really small in hands and lightweight.
Overall feels good nothing to complain at this price point.

Battery: It says 7 hours on single charge and in my case it truly holds up (I don’t listen to them on full volume). Additionally case holds three charges(almost) so battery claims hold.

Sound: These are mid-high champs. Lows don’t get pampered though. Some of folks won’t like the sound signature as these won’t rumble but sound is very detailed and grounded. You’ll definitely hear each note as details are insane. Highs are airy but might be harsh for people who are used to warmer sound. Many people complained about missing base, I think it’s enough for presentation and won’t give you headache. These are amazing for podcasts, acoustics etc

Misc: Ambient mode is a good feature, won’t blow your mind but it’s nice to have. Passive noise isolation is okayish.
It has IPX7 rating.

Overall, Great buds at 7K.

Firstly, a big thumbs up to Headphone Zone team for such prompt replies and warm gesture in assistance. Really appreciate that! Now coming to the product, I love listening to music as I compose. arrange and listen to music majorly. I will try to share my experience with Shanling MW100. I did a sufficient burn and usage of two weeks before writing this review.

Cons:
1. Music Production: If you are into music production and this product is not for you while creating music. I used it with my Garageband in iPad and the latency is way too much and impossible to use this for that purpose. 1/10
2. Video Conferencing: For all who are into online video conferencing, the latency will again bring the experience few notches down. The delay response is quite visible. Also as this product has a snug fit approach, the receiver is not way too strong to capture the voice efficiently. Thus not ideal for video conferencing or online sessions. 3/10
3. Call/communication: The call quality is moderate. The ambience feature is a boon and really helpful if you are a rider or regular commuter. The sound is little mechanical/robotic but Okish. It does capture a huge background noise so if you are in quiet place this would be OK but if not then the person on the other side would know the world around you quite clearly. the touchscreen feature is good for receiving and dropping a call. Also, multiple device pairing would have been a really helpful addition. 6/10
*A dedicated gesture for volume control would have been such an essential addition!

NOW THAT'S ABOUT CONS! Let's GET TO THE PROS NOW... AND SOME PROS THEY ARE.....TRUST ME

Pros:
1. Build: ITS A PIECE OF ART! yes. the look, the finish and the casing is indeed a stellar move. It looks like a pearl shell and aesthetically such an amazing creation. a real treat to eyes (check the pics). The earbuds are again just wow in terms of looks and finishing. The build quality is sturdy, apt, and comfortable. the leather strap, Red and White combination, USB3.0 connection and stable fitting of buds in the case makes it a real finished product to own. 9/10
2. Sound: If you love music this is for you. Balanced output with a pinch of punchy bass. Low, mid and high maintained without any crack, broad soundstage making you feel you are in a concert hall. The distinct separation of different instruments with clear distances. You can listen to music all day long without exhausting the eardrums...the sound is that sweet to the ear. Literally its music to the ear. Every time you listen through this you might end up discovering new sounds of your favourite songs. The overall flat signature sometimes may feel little low but with the time you would really appreciate the whole signature. A decent entry-level audiophile device that no one is offering at this price range or even if you go few notches high with other brands. Bottom line... DONT THINK TWICE IF LISTENING TO MUSIC IS YOUR PRIORITY. 9/10
3. Fitting: This piece of art is designed to deliver one thing for sure. COMFORT! the fitting inside ear is just apt. you wouldn't even realize its there. the fitting is so good never it feels that this might fall off. Aesthetically it is so good that no one would even notice that you are using an earbud. No odd protrusion, no hanging receivers, no bulging around the ear. this thing will be there as if they don't exist doing its job. If you are into riding then you would love this as because of its fitting the helmet does not create any pressure and the experience remains comfortable. But do not forget as this is not voice assistant enable you do have to control communication through phone only. 9/10
4. Battery: The 6 hrs duration with 21 hr backup is way sufficient for regular use. and the fast charging is a treat indeed. having a USB3.0 is a cherry on the top. Though always it is appreciated if this time frame is increased. 8/10

Final statement: As stated already, if you are into music listening this will surely give you a very good time ahead. For rest, you can explore some other devices too. Shanling! Thanks for making this product with music quality as its priority.

I got the red one. Though black would have been nicer. But i have learnt to live with it. :-)
Sound - Great - Midtones are awesome.
Bass - On the natural type so if you have a bass lover , its not for you. Get the Bass Booster Model
Best sounding earbuds for the bucks.
Comfort - Fairly well. Due to lack of weight, you wont realize that its on your ear. I have used it for 3 hours continuously and did not hurt my ear.
Battery Life - Awesome. I have charged 2 times in 3 months (i admit , i dont use it daily and got to my WM1000 for most of the time).
But this is my favourite for the price range. It will surprise you with its goodness

Con : Plastic - y body is more prone to slide off if you are working out with this.

Shanling MTW100 (Knowles Balanced Armature driver) was an experiment as I always prefer wired earphones/headphones to preserve the audio quality. But the experiment worked. This piece of true wireless earbuds is a bang for the buck with its excellent qualities and features. The sound quality is well-rounded and balanced; design and fit are top-notch. If IPX7 water resistance is the icing, the ambient sound transparency feature is the cherry on top.
The cons are battery life and a lack of volume control. Do not expect it to provide 24 hours. You can get a maximum of 5 and a half hours on the earbuds and a little more than 2X charge from the case. But it is more than enough.
If you are planning to order one, do not hesitate. The quality product combined with Headphone Zone's excellent service will provide a pleasant experience to you.

I am writing this review after about a month or so of regular use. Bought Balanced Armature (Black) for Rs. 6499

Build and Form (4/5): Frankly speaking, its not the best. But I don't expect a lot more in this price range either. The outer parts are made of glossy plastic, the insides have a matte texture, which makes it look a little better. The Lid is magnetic and snaps in nicely, although there is a slight wobble. The hinge, though it seems durable, could have been more stable. The Earbuds also span into their charging cups, thanks to the magnets, and won't easily fall out of the case. The buds also have a glossy hard plastic look on the outside, and a satin/rubberized finish on the inside. Ther are however pretty durable and didn't show any scratches even after rough use. The battery indicator LEDs on the inside are poorly made.

Connectivity(4.5/5): I had no connectivity issues across a range of devices, it was always quick and easy. However, there is no button to disconnect the current paring in the box, so perhaps the only way you will connect it to a different device is when you disconnect it from the first device. I faced only minor disturbances when I was surrounded by a lot of devices. The range is also great and should never be an issue in regular use.

Comfort(4.5/5): These fit nicely in the ear. Although it takes time to figure out the best way to position them for the most comfort. The ear tips provided add a great passive noise cancellation. The touch interface is pretty easy to use, it took me no time to get used to them. I don't know why people are booing the ambient sound mode by saying exactly what it's supposed to do. It gives a good awareness of the surrounding.

Sound...oh the sound(7/5): The Balanced Armature drivers are really something. Having used the M50x I thought I would have listed to all the sounds a song had to offer, But these still surprised me with new elements to my favorite songs. I can't explain this any further, one really has to try the Balanced Armature to get an idea. They produce extremely accurate sound, and there's something about it. Its just Love! This is where they surprise you. Outstanding sound for the amount you are paying.

Summing it up, you really can't go wrong with these. I'd highly recommend this, especially to people who would like to rediscover their favorite tracks.

Pros:
* Good for music overall.
Maybe not some forms of Metal. BM etc. However, well produced (read Non-Raw)DM and Prog sounds excellent).
Western Classical Music sounds divine.
Rock Sounds pretty darn good.
* Good detail.
* Great Connection Strength.
* Surprisingly no Audio sync issues on videos (netflix, Youtube, video calls etc)
* Very Non-Fatiguing Sound signature (BA version).
* Wireless charging is a big plus.

Cons:
* Slight discomfort in extended wear in one ear (probably a personal fit issue)
* Call Quality is not consistent. Sometimes terrible sometimes OK.
* Flimsy Hinge on the charging case (looks like it will break with mild pressure)

I Would not say the Best, in terms of built quality one of them was faulty but since both the headphones I bought was for gift and they loved it. That small built quality bug was ignored from my end as they ate not so audioheads and they loved it that's what matters to me. BUT they look really beautiful could do more with built quality. And For the sound they cannot be compared to any other In my opinion as they are good in their way. Mild and gentle music lover will love this earpiece.

Saw this on a Headphonezone add on Facebook and I was curious about the product. Always wanted an upgrade from my AirPods. Mind you the AirPods are great sounding truly wireless earphones but with most noise isolation I was lacking. Being a musician I wanted something with balanced armatures and without wires and these are a perfect match for these requirements! The sound isn’t too coloured and it responds based on the EQ that you set without any hassle. The ambience mode makes it easier to listen to the outside world without having to remove them. Being a wireless charging user with my iPhone having this feature for a budget truly wireless earphones is an absolute steal! Big props to Headphone Zone for answering all my queries about the product before I made the purchase. And as usual they’re quick delivery made the purchase an icing on the cake! Thank you Headphone Zone for delivering YET AGAIN!
