RHA - S500 Universal

I have used some awesome pairs of IEMs under ₹5k category like, 1more dual driver (1DD+1AD), Sony mdr-75ap, 1more piston fit, etc. And I can tell about Rha s500u for sure that this one has most clear sound output. I have to set proper EQ in my smartphone to get desired sound output for all other IEMs I have used as some of them have V-shaped response and some are bass heavy. But S500u has most clear and balanced sound output and I didn't have to use equilizer of my smartphone as I am now able to hear the clear sound track which is possibly nearest to the one recorded at the studio. Trust me this one has best sound output and durability under ₹3k. Now talking about cons (which i don't think it has much), it do have narrow sound stage. I have compared it to the 1more dual driver and I found that Rha s500u fails to create rich and wider sound stage (may be because of its small sized drivers) but that doesn't matter a lot to me and should to any other buyer as well. At last I must talk about its bass response as I have read too much negative about that. So let me make it clear that S500u has surprisingly excellent bass response and one will enjoy poor bass unlike muddy and exaggerated bass offered by some of the IEMs.

When i opened the box i found that 2 pairs of earbuds are missing...I was very much irritated.. thanks to headphone zone for delivering new earbuds to me...sorry for being rude btw..

Now let's come to earphone..
These are light as feather, and look wise one of the best I habe ever seen..these earphones are very tiny but sounds more then expected....but when I 1st used these sound like some cheap earphones, after burning in for 30 hrs these are now producing very clear vocals and bass is also increased...I think it will last more then 3 year...
For burning in download burning speaker app this app let me burn in for three hours straight when the screen was off and produce both pink and white noise ....

Loved RHA s500u in all its form! If there was an award for best looking earphones, RHA would've won all the awards! It has a very crisp and overall a balanced sound signature which I loved! I'm looking forward to buy RHA Trueconnect 2 soon, until then these would be my companion in this quarantine! ✌️

The RHA-S500 offer a very clear sound signature,even at the highs the sound does not looses its path and you can identify different types of sound clearly.
At the low end the earphone provide a smooth sound but bass heads who love sony and scull candy might be a little disappointed bcoz the base is not so good but it is on point and very punchy. People who love listening to classical music..it is the best busy under 2000 and as far as the build quality goes RHA has never disappointed me with there aluminium build which is strong and rigid. As far for me I will say RHA -S500 provide the best sound signature under INR 2000.

Under the price range of 2000 Rs, this is the best wired earphone you can get.

S500 is way better than MA-390.
Sound stage is as balanced and neutral as you can get in any in-ear style earphones whereas MA-390 are more bass heavy.
These earphones will require some burn-in, about 7-8 hours for my pair.

Great earphone with balanced music as described. Who says bass is not there..? It is only not emphasizing that. Decent bass is definately here as it is in the music. You can hear every single instrument separately. Super clear vocals and instruments. I have both MA390 and S500 universal and S500 seems more beautiful in music.

Rha s500 concentrates more on instrumentals (you’ll definitely listen to all the instruments used in a particular song unlike on any earphone under this price range).
Comfortable n you can listen for hours n hours without any ear pain.

It beats Sony Xb55Ap/Xb75 in Sound Quality but only lacks bass.

The moment I opened the box I was amazed by the design. It's design is so elegant that you will fall in love with these earphones at first sight. I like neutralized sound. That's the reason I chose these. It's sounds pretty good (not awesome) which is more than satisfactory in this price range.

Best earphones I have ever used..Much better than my previous Sennheiser CX 275s..Sound quality is just amazing with crisp clear vocals..But this requires few hours of burn in to deliver its best..

Im not an audiophile and cant distinguish those minute deails and hence not talking about music language.The design, the build, the sound Signature , the feel is what i have fallen for ! The sound is very balanced and one of the best among 2k price range ! The brushed aluminium housing and the micro dynamic driver is very small but not the performance ! Thankyou headphone zone for this beautifull earphones !

I have used or using sony xb75, sony wh1000xm3, one more truly wireless buds, one plus z wireless, sony xb400 wireless, RHA 500u, samsung Akg tunes wired earphones etc. The best earphones ranking is as follows
1. Sony Wh1000 xm3 headphone price Rs25000
2. RHA 500 u price Rs2000
3. Samsung Akg earphones not available for purchase (came with my s9plus)
4. One plus z wireless Rs2000
5. One more truly wireless Rs.5000

Balance all are not good as they cause headache and sound is artificial, not sweet or crystal clear as RHA

Everything about the S500U is "Perfetto". The aesthetics, sound, convenience, build quality, just name them. The bass is adequate for my liking, though some people may find it to be on the lower side. The mids and high are also perfectly balanced and not overdone. Extremely pleased to have owned one. Thank you so much team Headphonezone for making the S500U available when no other online store had it in their listing.

A well balanced earphones with decent build. I was using Sennheiser 275, and now i dont really use it. It has its own sound signature which you cannot find in others and its so compact yet produces magic when combined with power amp app. Total value for money. And yes it has bass not that punchy but warm enough to compliment your listening experience. 3 years warranty is cheery on top.Bassheads should go for sony 55ap.
