However, if you receive an incorrect / damaged / different product or one with missing accessories, please raise a return request within 24 hours of delivery. In case you receive a product with a missing, incorrect, or faulty accessory, you will be given a replacement accessory instead of the entire product.

The KZ team of acoustic engineers has devoted significant time to developing innovative technologies and methods to enhance the performance of the PR2. To begin this process, they have installed a powerful driver, a newly developed 13.2mm planar magnetic driver. This driver eliminates the voice coil structure and replaces it with ultra-low resistance nano-silver electroplating lines. The diaphragm's low-load design provides quicker response times and superior high-frequency performance, which is a significant advantage of this planar unit. The PR2 is also equipped with a double-sided array magnetic circuit system made up of 14 N52 rubidium magnets to support this driver, which provides ideal magnetic circuit performance, a faster transient response, and exceptional on-site sound quality.

KZ PR2 || When a KZ gets tuned well.

You might remember KZ from the brand which gives you a lot for lot less,
from cheapest Hybrid and Tribids to their own inhouse Planar.

Coming from PR1 Pro, the only downside PR1 Pro had was its treble which can be too much for treble sensitive people like me.

Disclaimer:
I got PR2 from the First Lot of manufacturing(ordered from China) which now people are calling PR2 V1 because after 6000 units KZ changed the damper implementation and which resulted in changing of tuning particularly in the Upper Treble region which are now called are V2 by the buyers.
(v1 and v2 are terms used by buyers and not the manufacturer to differentiate first 6000 and later units)

PR2 is the most well tuned IEM in the price range and some could argue that these are even better tuned than S12 or Timeless. They surely resemble the graph of Tangzu Zetian Wu Heyday which costs more than 3 times the price as they are tuned by the same person HBB.

The bass and details are the main attraction of this IEM and now you don't need to spend 10k+ to get one of the best-tuned Panar IEMs and I will say These are a blind buy.

They do complement the Truthear HEXA well as they have different strengths but complete each other's shortcomings.

Specialty:

1) Very Wide horizontal Sounstage (for an IEM)
2) Center Image is very Crisp. You can close eyes and image Music in front of you.
3) More Comfortable than Hexa
4) Bass

Things to watch Out For:

1) Treble for newer units
2) NEED POWER. A LOT OF POWER.

Now, Coming to Power:

They require a shit tonne of power and these are one of those IEMs which definitely require an AMP/DAC. They have 94db/mw sensitivity which is seriously close to my HE400se at 91db/mw. So you can get an idea that they require power comparable to a Full Size Headphone.

*Any 2v Dac/Amp is Recommended while you need atleast 1v Dac/Amp to barely run them. Balanced connection does help.

Well tuned and Excellent value for money

This sounds like a 10k plus iem. Very well balanced and tuned iem with slightly bass boost, engaging low and highs and smooth mids, good details and technical performance for the price. First planar iem and it sound very good. For the price this is definitely worth buying.

Cons - very hard to drive, my fiio BTR5 need to be turned full volume to get good level sound.

Stock cable is ordinary and usable. This is ok, coz of low price.

Perfectly tuned Planar IEM from KZ

KZ has yet again done a great job. I was eagerly waiting for these IEM's. As they say, good things come in small packages.

If I talk about the build quality, it is very well built with Solid build quality. One can feel the premiumness while holding it. Very comfortable in wearing, very light weight as compared to CCA PLA13. If I talk about the sound quality, it has sub bass which one can feel. Sub bass does rumble. You need to amp it up to feel the bass. Mid bass is punchy.
I like the mids as compared to PLA 13 which is more of a V-Shaped sound. Vocals have a good amount of texture. Its not harsh nor muddy.

Treble is very nice not harsh and not too warm. If I compare it with PLA 13 where I felt the treble is gets harsh when you increase the volume. But in case of PR2, it did not happen. Treble was smooth and sounded nice.

Overall KZ has very well tuned PR2's. Would recommend these Planar IEM's.

Recommendation- Need to have good DAC/AMP to get the most out of it.
