Flat Sound Signature

A Flat sound signature offers an accurate presentation of sounds without adding colour to your music. Simply put, this sound signature presents audio without boosting any frequencies. As a result, it’s the most natural-sounding signature and provides the closest reproduction of how a track was recorded and produced. Due to their accurate sound reproduction, flat sound signature headphones are preferred by Music professionals, Sound Engineers and used in professional studios for mixing and mastering music tracks and are also loved by audiophiles for immersive listening sessions. You can listen to Classical, Rock, Jazz, Blues, Folk & possibly every genre in music.

2 Years of

Ideal for Audiophiles

These headphones are designed for discerning music lovers. If you are someone who cares about audio quality "deeply," you'll want a pair of headphones like these.

You can expect them to present a refined listening experience. The audio quality exhibited by these headphones is a beautiful mix of musicality, technical brilliance and high precision.

These headphones deliver a spacious and open soundstage with utmost clarity and detail. Delve into pure sonic bliss with these headphones!

For Studio & Professionals

As the name implies, anything branded as studio headphones is designed especially for a studio setting with a particular focus on accuracy and transparency for monitoring and mixing.

These headphones present an accurate image of your music than ordinary headphones, allowing you to hear every nuance and aspect of your music. Therefore, having a good set of studio headphones is just as important as any other gear in your studio.

These headphones provide a fresh perspective to that mix you’ve spent hours mastering and recording, essentially giving you another set of ears.

Closed-Back Design

Headphones with a Closed-Back design are completely sealed around the ear cup, allowing the sound to travel directly into your ears. This means that closed-back headphones block out outside noise, giving much better isolation, and minimising sound leakage to those around you.

Needs Amplification

Headphones and IEMs require a certain level of power to sound their best and work at their full potential. When your headphones or IEMs are underpowered, they can sound thin or muffled.

Amplifiers are required to provide adequate power to your headphone or IEMs to perform at their best. Simply put, amplifiers allow a weak audio signal to be boosted to a powerful one.

To put it into perspective, devices such as your phones and laptops come with an amplifier, but they offer very limited output power. This output may not be sufficient to power headphones and IEMs to shine at their best. This is where a dedicated amplifier is required to deliver adequate power to hear your music in all its glory.

Replaceable Cables

A pair of headphones with a replaceable cable has many benefits, and one of them is if the connecting cable has a problem, it doesn’t mean that you have to buy a new one. If the connecting cable gets pulled or damaged, you can replace it and keep using your good-old headphones or IEMs. This way, your headphones will be protected and will last longer. With the advancements in cable manufacturing, you now get a variety of replacement cables with various termination options, lengths and quality.

The DT700 Pro x is an upgrade from the legendary DT770 pro. For one, it's got a much better low end, with a more accurate representation. The build quality receives an upgrade and they are so much more comfortable. The detachable cables are a welcome addition too. But the biggest reason to upgrade? - The bass.

Beyerdynamic presents the all-new and upgraded DT 700 PRO X closed-back headphones. Featuring a circumaural design with upgraded drivers and a sound transducer, the DT 700 PRO X allows you to let your creativity run free. These headphones are developed and produced in Heilbronn, Germany, maintaining the high quality of the Beyerdynamic brand. The new DT 700 PRO X is suitable for flexible use in the studio and even on the road. The DT 700 PRO X is must-have equipment for a creator who wants to work on their music always and everywhere and experience the best sound in studio quality.

The Beyerdynamic DT 700 PRO X features the newly developed STELLAR.45 sound transducer that delivers the trusted Beyerdynamic sound. This transducer works in harmony with a neodymium ring magnet as well as the copper-clad high-tech wire. With these implemented, the trade-off between electrical conductivity and the weight of the wire is unique and delivers revealing clarity. This redesign, in combination with the newly developed three-layer speaker diaphragm featuring an integrated damping layer, has created a highly efficient driver system that performs superbly on all playback devices.

The innovative membrane structure of the new Beyerdynamic DT 700 PRO X controls the axial motion of the voice coil and ensures that it remains securely positioned in the magnet gap even during high oscillations. Another benefit of this is the vast and natural frequency response. The fast response of the transducer and the detailed transient response, produced by the low coil weight, create a sound that is always reliable and distortion-free even at high sound pressure levels.

The Beyerdynamic DT 700 PRO X has been engineered to offer unparalleled compatibility with various devices like audio interfaces, laptops, tablets or mobile phones. This is made possible with the inclusion of the new high-performance STELLAR.45 driver, which offers an impedance of 48 ohms and reproduces sound at volume and power familiar to levels of studio-quality on all playback devices. More flexibility is felt with the included detachable mini-XLR cable, which is thoughtful and allows for upgradability. The wide range of compatibility offered by the new DT 700 PRO X allows you to unleash your creativity anytime, anywhere.

The new Beyerdynamic DT 700 PRO X showcases a minimal and essential design. Thanks to its robust design and high-quality materials utilised, these headphones distinguish themselves by providing maximum durability. The metal headband, fibre-glass reinforced plastic body, the robust mini-XLR connector and resistant cables equip you for every professional application. The sturdy spring steel headband design assures a secure fit and ensures durability. The supple velour ear pads are soft to the touch and guarantee superior isolation. The headband ergonomically adapts to the shape of your head with the aid of memory foam and, like the ear pads, can be replaced if required.

The Beyerdynamic DT 700 PRO X ships with much-needed accessories and an easy to store drawstring bag, making it easy to carry the headphones. There is one drawstring bag included with two connecting cables - one with 3-meter length and another of a shorter 1.8-meter length. These cables feature a 3.5mm stereo jack for easy connectivity and the headphones also ship with an additional 1/4” adapter to connect them to devices with a balanced connection. This is thoughtful and reduces the need to buy extra accessories.

The new Beyerdynamic DT 700 PRO X headphones have been designed for daily use in challenging conditions. This is why they are handmade in Heilbronn, Germany, using premium quality materials. If required, nearly all the headphones’ components can be replaced, turning these headphones into an investment that makes sense for every creator. The Beyerdynamic DT 700 PRO X is a well-spent investment for every creator, with a focus on sustainability and durability.

The DT700 Pro X are built like a tank literally, and every part on them can be replaced. They are a bit bright but bring out details very well. The vocals might sound recessed on certain tracks. The bass could be tighter, but it doesn't bleed into mids or highs too much. The clamp force on them is extremely high. The steel headband can be bent without breakage though, and that fixes it almost immediately. They are super comfortable, although a bit heavier. They can be driven loud enough from literally any source. Thus, they are best for portable use. The sound stage is a little intimate and closed due to the closed back nature of these headphones, but that is compensated by a good passive isolation produced by them. If you want a headphone for home use and have an extremely quiet environment, go for the openback 900 Pro X. If you have a strong amp as well, go for the openback ATH R70X. Otherwise this DT 700 Pro X is an amazing choice. Lastly, the service from Headphonezone is beyond words. It is pure amazing. They respond to every call/mail and answer smallest and silliest of questions. The delivery is prompt. I can't praise them enough to do justice to the efforts that the team puts. They put all other platforms to shame. Only buy audio accessories from Headphonezone. You'd be doing yourself a favour.

This makes us really happy and we really appreciate the genuine feedback! We're glad that you have such positive thoughts about our team and the company.

Beyerdynamic DT 700 PRO X headphones

These are my first impressions after just four days of receiving the headphones :
I am nowhere close to being an audiophile, to start with, so my comments may seem amateurish to most folks.
First up, I read up a bit about "burn in", but wasn't convinced about it, so I have pretty much started using the 'phones right out of the box.
The cons, first :
They are quite hefty, and sit heavily on my head. It tires me out after an hour or so.
That's the ONLY con, heh
The pros :
The sound is quite neutral, the way I like it.
It was a treat listening to anything I threw at them. They seem to handle all genres, rock, pop, jazz, classical, etc. with equal ease.
When I paired them with the iBasso DC 5 dac, even my cellphone seems to come alive.
I have tried them through my Scarlett Solo soundcard hooked up to my laptop, and I completely lost myself for an hour. Exceptional quality.
The 'phones are very sturdy, built like a tank, and should last me for a decade!
I shall update this after a few months more.
PS : Shoutout to Karan Soni, who helped me narrow down my choice.
I am very happy, not just with the 'phones, but also with Headphonezone's service.
Cheers everybody,
